This Is My Genre Tag

Hey guys, this is Remi. Today we’re gonna talk about This Is My Genre Tag! It’s originally created by Dani’s Bookshelf.

What’s Your Favourite Genre?

My favourite genre is thriller. I like psychological thriller the most. I also read sci-fi thriller, horror thriller and YA thriller.

Who is your favourite author from the genre?

I adore a lot of thriller authors because they always have crazy minds to come up twisty stories.

It’s difficult to pick just one but my current favourite author is Clare Mackintosh.

What is it about the genre that keeps pulling you back?

I’m drawn to the dark side of humanity. I seek destruction in people’s life.

What’s the book that started your love for the genre?

The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins

And I think that’s the first psychological thriller I’ve read.

If you had to recommend at least one book from your favorite genre to a non-reader/someone looking to start reading the genre, what would you choose and why?

I See You by Clare Mackintosh

It doesn’t have many POVs. It doesn’t have blood and gore in it. But it sure is creepy. It’s a good thriller for a beginner.

Why do you read?

I read because I have no internet connection and I don’t have anything else to do.

That’s all for This Is My Genre Tag.

I’m Remi. I’ll bother you next time. Have a great weekend.

Bye 👋

  1. It’s so great to see someone do this with a genre I haven’t seen done yet! Thanks for linking to me, though I should clarify that I didn’t create this tag–the creator is linked in my original post when I did this tag for the romance genre.
