The Monday Musts #3

Hey guys, it’s Remi here!  I’m back with this meme The Monday Musts.

How was your weekend?  My weekend was great.  I attended a wedding 💍.  There was so many good food to eat!  Hahaha!  The groom and the bride were both so tall!  6’2 and 5’9!  I’m only 5’2.  Lol.  I was like a dwarf beside them.

Without further ado, let’s just get down to our business!

【 Must Read 】
The Five Stages Of Andrew Bradley by Shaun David Hutchinson

Genres: YA, contemporary, fiction, LGBTQIA, comic

Synopsis:

Andrew Brawley was supposed to die that night. His parents did, and so did his sister, but he survived.

Now he lives in the hospital. He serves food in the cafeteria, he hangs out with the nurses, and he sleeps in a forgotten supply closet. Drew blends in to near invisibility, hiding from his past, his guilt, and those who are trying to find him.

Then one night Rusty is wheeled into the ER, burned on half his body by hateful classmates. His agony calls out to Drew like a beacon, pulling them both together through all their pain and grief. In Rusty, Drew sees hope, happiness, and a future for both of them. A future outside the hospital, and away from their pasts.

But Drew knows that life is never that simple. Death roams the hospital, searching for Drew, and now Rusty. Drew lost his family, but he refuses to lose Rusty, too, so he’s determined to make things right. He’s determined to bargain, and to settle his debts once and for all.

But Death is not easily placated, and Drew’s life will have to get worse before there is any chance for things to get better.

A partly graphic novel.  (From: Goodreads)

What I Like About This Book:

Andrew Brawley is such a sweet kid.  I want to be his friend.  He treated his friends so nicely!

Riverdale at The CW

Genres: YA, contemporary, mystery

Synopsis:

As a new school year begins, the town of Riverdale is reeling from the tragic death of high school golden boy Jason Blossom. Archie Andrews is still the all-American teen, but the summer’s events made him realize that he wants to pursue a career in music — not follow in his dad Fred’s footsteps — despite his forbidden relationship with Riverdale’s young music teacher, Ms. Grundy. With the weight of the world on his shoulders, Archie must look for a new music mentor and turns to Josie McCoy but she is focused solely on her band, Josie and the Pussycats. Weighing heavily on his mind is also his fractured friendship with budding writer Jughead Jones. Meanwhile, girl-next-door Betty Cooper is anxious to see her crush Archie after being away all summer, but she’s not quite ready to reveal her true feelings to him. And Betty’s nerves, which are hardly soothed by her overbearing mother Alice aren’t the only thing holding her back. When a new student, Veronica Lodge arrives in town from New York with her mother Hermione there’s an undeniable spark between her and Archie, but Veronica doesn’t want to risk her new friendship with Betty.  (From: TVShow Time)

What I Like About This Show:

Or rather, who I like on this show.  Cole Sprouse!!!  He is my childhood!  (Yeah, Dylan too.) Okay, seriously, my favourite character is so far Veronica ✌

【 Must Listen】

Perfect by Ed Sheeran

Genres: pop, soft, waltz

What I Like About This Song:

Because it’s PERFECT!!!  Just go listen, will ya?

Okay, I love Divide very much.  Ed is kind enough to let people listen to this album on YouTube.  Haha, well, I’ve bought the CD already.  What I wanna say is, you all can listen to the album without paying, for now.

I love songs titled Perfect, like Selena Gomez’s and One Direction’s.

What about you?  What are your musts?  Have you read, watch, or listen to any of these?  Let me know what you think!

Have a lovely day and I’ll see you tomorrow.  Bye bye 👋

    1. I actually like it a lot. I think I like it better than ➕ and ❌. My favourite tunes are Castle On The Hill, How Would You Feel, Perfect, Dive, and What Do I Know. How about you? Have you listened to ➗?
