Quotable Thursday #1

Hey guys, it’s Remi here!  Did you all have a nice day?
I love the Thursdays of this semester because I only have two courses, Spanish culture and table tennis!  I love quotes as well whether they are funny, sarcastic, profound, or heartbreaking.  On this day of the week, I’ll share with you 3 or 5 nice quotes that I’ve recently discovered!  (There won’t be 4 because I don’t like even numbers.)

1.

Ivan: You’re like Jaime Lannister from Game Of Thrones.

Jacob: Except my hand is way cooler than his and I’m better-looking.

— from Optimists Die First by Susin Nielson.

*Jacob is a guy with a robotic arm.

2.

“You know you can’t be happy unless you’re unhappy sometimes.”

— from Delirium by Lauren Oliver

3.

If Eastlake High School were the universe, I would be the one of the moons circling Planet Emma, constantly hidden by her shadow, and glad to be there.  Nash Hudson would be one of the stars: too bright to look at, too hot to touch and at the center of his own solar system.

— from My Soul To Take by Rachel Vincent

4.

“It’s my sacred duty as your older brother to harass your boyfriends.  It’s practically my birth right!”

— Indelible by Dawn Metcalf

5.

I’m like a coin constantly flipping — heads, tails, heads, tails, heads, tails, heads, tails — like someone tossed me into the air to settle something once and for all but didn’t catch me, and now I’m falling into an abyss, unable to see what will come up when I land.

— History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

Which one do you like the most?  Do you have some nice quotes that you wanna share?

That’s all for now.  I’ll see you next time.  Have a nice day.  👋 bye bye ~
