Review : The Giver by Lois Lowry

It’s a brand new way to look at the world.

What if we all live in black and white?  What if we can’t make our own choice?  What if there’s no such thing as love?

This book is pretty easy to read yet its concept us profound.  While everyone focuses on the memory part, I see the part of choices.

On one hand, people making choices for you is good so that you don’t need to worry about anything.  However, on the other hand, it seems that you can’t live wide.  Your life is scheduled.  Your path is decided.  And the saddest part is, you’re never the one who makes choices.

This is definitely a good read.  I know most of you have already read it.  But in case you haven’t, do yourself a favour and read it!
